Sex Therapy

Provider Identification & Licensure

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Sex Therapist providing online sex therapy and relational psychotherapy.

  • Licensed in: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Michigan, and South Carolina

  • Work with adults (18+) in individual and couples therapy

  • Online sessions only

  • Private pay

I specialize in online sex therapy for adults experiencing sexual disconnection, desire discrepancies, and intimacy avoidance, particularly when previous therapy did not address sexuality directly.

While my primary focus is sex therapy in the context of relationships, I also work with adults individually when sexual or relational concerns are central to their distress.

Strong Fit?

I often work with couples who:

  • Feel emotionally close but sexually disconnected

  • Experience ongoing desire discrepancies or avoidance of intimacy

  • Find themselves stuck in repetitive conversations that do not lead to change

  • Have tried therapy before but felt sexuality was never fully addressed

  • Are questioning whether their sexual and relational bond can be repaired or clarified, sometimes while considering separation

Not the Right Fit?

Sex therapy with me may not be appropriate if:

  • There is ongoing coercion, abuse, or a lack of emotional or physical safety

  • One partner is unwilling to engage honestly in the therapeutic process

  • The goal is to change or “fix” one partner rather than explore relational patterns

  • You are seeking insurance-covered therapy (services are private pay only)

  • You are looking for quick techniques, performance goals, or prescriptive sexual instruction

Therapeutic Approach & Style

My work is relational, emotionally attuned, and insight-oriented. Rather than focusing on performance goals or quick solutions, I help couples understand the emotional, relational, and nervous-system patterns shaping their sexual connection.

Therapy is collaborative and reflective, with an emphasis on building greater choice, safety, and authenticity rather than pressure or expectation.

Credentials & Experience

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Certified Sex Therapist

  • Specialized experience working with couples navigating desire discrepancies, intimacy avoidance, sexual aversion, and sexual disconnection

  • Experience supporting couples considering separation who want clarity about their sexual and relational bond before making major decisions

Practical Details & Constraints

  • Client population: Adults (18+)

  • Session format: Online only

  • Payment model: Private pay

  • Jurisdiction: Services provided to clients located in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Michigan, or South Carolina

This work is often a strong match if you are:

  • Thoughtful, reflective, and curious about your relational patterns

  • Interested in depth and understanding rather than tips or techniques

  • Willing to explore sexuality as part of your emotional and relational life

In Summary

At its best, sex therapy is not about wanting more sex, different sex, or any particular kind of sex. It is about feeling more at ease, more choiceful, and more connected—to yourself and to each other.

If this feels like a potential fit, the next step is to schedule a consultation to explore whether working together makes sense.
